7 Useful magento extensions
After installing Magento and integrating theme with it, Extensions will be the next step to enhance the store functionality.
While developing the Magento stores for clients, also during my job I found so many useful Magento extensions. Some of those extensions are listed here.
Useful Magento Extensions :
1.Simple Configurable Products (SCP) – Free
This extension is very useful when you are using configurable products, By using this extension,the price for configurable products is taken directly from the associated simple products rather than the configurable product itself.
Also simple products name,image,descriptions can be updated in product page.
2.Auto Currency Switcher – Free
Auto Currency extension tracks visitor’s IP address and automatically changes the store currency to the visitor’s location currency. Visitor can switch to his/her desired currency at any time.
This is great extension,no more configuration is required, just enable multiple currency in your store and its done.
3.Social Login – Paid
Social Login allows customers to use their social account to gain access to your site instantly, support most important social networks like facebook,twitter,google,yahoo and linked-in.
4.One Page Checkout – Free
One Page Checkout Module dramatically reduces the steps required in the checkout process.With many useful configuration options, it will save many steps in checkout than default checkout process.
5.Multi Flat Shipping – Free
This extension will create 5 flat rate shipping methods with different prices and conditions.
It will also add a custom HTML message you can show in the checkout page to inform your customers about your shipping methods.
6.Free Text Search – Free
Free Text Search extension is a simple and effective solution for your Magento search feature.A simple Magento search will only produce results within the exact keyword searched, showing only those products with that same keyword.
It is also useful to search cms pages.
7.WebForms – Free/Paid
Form builder WebForms is a complete solution for creating and managing custom forms on your Magento site.
This Magento extension is a great tool which provides all kinds of advanced functionality when it comes to collecting user input on one side and working with results on the other. It is very easy to build forms with any input type.
